This is the third exercise of the Prework of the UI/UX Ironhack Bootcamp, whwere I am asked to describe the 3 best and worst user experiences I ever had with a service or product. Where the good design principles listed by Dieter Rams applied to those products?

3 BEST DESIGN EXPERIENCES

BEST 1

Shazam it is like a magic tool that tells you the artist being played wherever you are, what its more you can link it directly to your spotify account!

BEST 2

New service system implemented in some bars or cafes. It consists of a machine where you can pay your order while it is being prepared. It allows you to save time and avoid service to touch money related stuff. Because everybody knows gloves are useless!

BEST 3

The very best object I saw last summer on the beach, is a plastic cone, available at some Chiringuitos. It is free and the user will stick it in the sand to put cigarette end into it. This is the best solution to keep our beach cleaner!

3 WORST DESIGN EXPERIENCES

WORST 1

New supermarket cashiers at my usual supermarket delivering the worst experience ever and causing long queues. As at every step the machine calls for the help of a supervisor to validate the action with his card.

WORST 2

Queue barriers are the worst solution of trying to manage a waiting line. You are forced to take an unnecessary path, once in the queue there is no way out, it is very uncomfortable as you cant even take a seat, it makes you feel ridiculous.

WORST 3

New super silent and almost invisible dishwasher machines. No one knows when the machine is running or not. That is causing problems, as it is usual to open the door while the machine is running.
